Former car designer, British automotive artist and minister Revd Adam Gompertz combines a lifelong passion for cars with a love of drawing. He's best known for sketching live at motoring events and places of automotive significance, including Morgan's Pickersleigh Road factory.
A friend of the brand and a frequent visitor to Malvern, we sat down with Adam to discover how he uses drawing to tell the stories behind handcrafted cars, while also using it as a therapeutic practice that supports his own mental wellbeing.
Inspired by his time at Pickersleigh Road, Adam hand-sketched a exclusive fine art print and T-shirt design, capturing the craftsmanship, coachbuilding and character that define every Morgan sports car. The designs are now available for pre-order from the Morgan shop, in store and online.
